Product description

MRD110 series radar level meter is an 80G FM radar type level measuring instrument with a measuring distance of up to 30 meters. The antenna is further optimized, and the new fast microprocessor can perform higher-speed signal analysis and processing, so that the instrument can be used for the measurement of environmental liquids such as high temperature and high pressure.

Product principle

The general principle of the FM continuous wave radar level meter is that the radar emits electromagnetic waves on the top of the tank, and the electromagnetic waves are received by the radar after being reflected by the medium. The frequency difference δf between the received signal and the transmitted signal is proportional to the distance R from the medium surface. : R= C (speed) * δ f (frequency difference) /2/ K (frequency modulation slope). Because the speed of light C and the frequency modulation slope K are known, the frequency difference δf is estimated, and the distance R from the material surface at the location where the radar is installed can be obtained. Then, through the known total height of the tank, subtract the spatial distance from the radar to the material surface (Abbreviated as empty height), get the height of the material level.

Installation requirements

When installing the instrument, avoid installing it above the feeding port, and try to avoid various objects that affect the signal, such as stirring paddles, etc.

Under extremely complex working conditions, the instrument can work normally without any obstacles within a radius of 20cm with the radar installation point as the center.

Electrical connections

Supply voltage:

(4~20) mA/HART (two-wire): The power supply and the output current signal share a two-core shielded cable. Refer to the technical data for the specific supply voltage range.

(4~20) mA (four/six-wire): The power supply needs to be powered separately, and a four-core shielded cable is used for the power supply and the current signal (the current signal and the RS485 interface can be output at the same time, and a six-core cable is required for the output at the same time). Shielded cable).

RS485/Modbus: The power supply needs to be powered separately, and a four-core shielded cable is used for the power supply and digital (current signal and RS485 interface can be output at the same time, and a six-core shielded cable is required for output at the same time).
